Oakland-born law grad, Taj McCoy, is committed to writing and representing stories championing Black and multiracial people of color, plus-sized protagonists, Black love, Black joy, and characters with strong senses of sisterhood and familial bonds. She is the author of SAVVY SHELDON FEELS GOOD AS HELL, ZORA BOOKS HER HAPPY EVER AFTER, and editor of the disaster romcom anthology EVEN IF THE SKY IS FALLING. In addition to writing, Taj works as a literary agent and a higher education consultant. When she isn't working, Taj may be boosting other marginalized writers, practicing yoga, traveling, or cooking private supper club meals for close friends at her home in the DC area.
Jeannie Lin is a USA TODAY bestselling author of historical romance and fantasy. She started writing her first book while working as a high school science teacher in South Central Los Angeles and her stories are inspired by a lifelong love of melodrama, wuxia adventure, and the rise and fall of empires. She also cannot resist a good sword fight.
Jeannie’s groundbreaking stories set in Tang Dynasty China have received multiple awards. Her debut novel, Butterfly Swords, was hailed as one of the “20 Most Influential Romance Novels of the Last 100 Years” by BookRiot and Red Blossom in Snow from the Lotus Palace Mystery series was selected as a New York Times Notable Book of 2022.
